ANNOUNCEMENT - PARKING GATES CODE CHANGE

Parking Gates

Due to recent security issues, the code to open the parking gates will change:

MONDAY JUNE 21 AT 8:00AM.

This means the clickers will need to be updated on that date. We have taken every step possible for a smooth transition. Here, you can download the "public" instructions to update a clicker but the code is missing. The full instructions are available to download in our website "MEMBERS" section (password-protected access for owners only) or in our private Facebook group. It's a good time to join in if you haven't already. Share full instructions or the switch number to be changed with your renters. Please keep it private. Marge or James will also have the info.

If you encounter problems and no other option works for you, send us an email.

Pools & Spas

The Board has made the unanimous decision to fully reopen the pools and spas. Outdoor restrictions have changed. Remember that there are vaccinated and unvaccinated people among us, so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

It may be necessary to return to restrictions, if mandated by health concerns.

RESTRICTIONS FOR GYM & LAUNDRY ROOMS STILL APPLY
Being indoor facilities, restrictions for the gym and laundry rooms have not changed. Masks, distancing and capacity limits still apply.

Pools & Spas

The Covid-19 special rules still apply at the pools & spas. This means NO GUESTS, NO PARTIES, among other things, and spas are restricted to ONE person or the SAME household.

The Board of Directors follows City, County and State restrictions and votes special rules accordingly, keeping in mind feasibility and common sense.

Needless to say, a 112-condo community is not a private house, nor a commercial venue. Most importantly, not every resident has been or is about to be fully vaccinated. Help us get through this by doing your part, like most of us have for over a year now.

We're lucky that our pools & spas have stayed open. Please spread the word to your renters or neighbors so we can keep it this way.

In accordance with Riverside County's new Orange Tier status starting April 7, the gym is allowed to be open with less restrictions.
• 3 PEOPLE at a time (max 25% occupancy)
• Face covering (the gym is a multipurpose space)
• 1-hour session max (to avoid reservations)
• Clean what you touch, bring your supplies
• Please respect and protect others

CLUBHOUSE
The Clubhouse deck work was finished last Friday, February 19, 2021. It had to be done this year so we took advantage of the closure of indoor facilities due to the pandemic to minimize the disruption. We thank everyone for their patience.

GYM

In accordance with Riverside County's return to purple level yesterday for Covid-19 restrictions and the State's ordinance, the gym is once again closed. We are very sorry to have to do this. The Board is monitoring the situation and we will adapt as soon as it changes.

ELECTIONS - CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Every two years, our Board of Directors is open for elections. This year, 2 out of 5 seats are up for grabs. “Notification for self-nominations” letters have been sent. If you’d like to run, follow instructions and send your nomination before November 2, 2020. The election is to be held on January 4, 2021. Note that “members” are up for election, not “positions”. The Board assigns positions to members according to their expertise, preferences, and availability.

DESERT AIDS PROJECT EXPANSION HEARING

You should have received by mail a Notice of Public Hearing regarding the DAP expansion on the vacant lot north of the Ranch Club, consisting of a medical Pavilion and a 61 unit affordable apartment complex. The Board also sent an email to the subscribed homeowners.

Here are the most significant issues to consider:
- Land use modification
- 3 story structure instead of the current 2 story limit

The Board is reviewing the project. DAP has been a good neighbor and hopefully. We’ll continue to have a good relationship. Please take this opportunity to review and consider providing feedback prior to the hearing on August 13, 2020. Here are the main links that were provided:
